This year at the LILEGRE, the English team with their students' support have prepared some amazing events in order to enjoy the English week.
In highschool, each level was in charge of preparing a stand that would represent one of the five continents, from America to Oceania, exposing their culture, typical food, costumes, celebrities and native dances. The whole community was involved in this and we could feel how commited students were when preparing all these activities. From pre-schoolers we enjoyed to see how kids were able of presenting a recipe and demonstrating how to prepare a meal by acting out as a cook from the Master Chef TV Show; as well as some others disguised as iconic and famous people from all around the world. We had tons of fun jumping and dancing with these little kids playing just dance! In primary, not only we could see famous little kids acting out and introcing themselves but we could also assist to the typical and very common hot-dog selling that occurs in New York City; they proved us once again how capable they are of using the language by participating in spelling bee contest, being surprisingly active and excited.
Lilegristas worked with enthusiasm and dedication allowing this English week happen happily!
